 We suppose that you have found your way to this page because you wonder who we are and what we are about. Your desire to dig a little bit deeper is in some weird way the most accurate description of what we are about. rednow is an experiment in the art of wonder. We believe that some of the most important moments of movement in our lives have been rooted in times where we are left scratching our head in confusion, nodding our head in agreement or shaking our head in disgust. What is behind the emotions and thoughts that create these kinds of experiences? Although we are not all together certain ourselves... we feel that if we can tap into that "Thing" and share it with others, would there be a greater Thing to share? It seems that by showing up here, you are interested too. Welcome.
Who are we? Asking us who we are is quite similar to someone asking you "Who are you?" It's often a difficult question to answer. This is why we tend to get to know each other with the ice-breaking questions, "So, what do you do (for a living)?" or "What school do you attend?" Somehow these answers provide a framework in which we orchestrate an opinion of "who you/we are"... We then typically rattle off a few things we like... reading nonfiction, film, writing poetry, music, creating art. Well, we like all of those as well. Maybe rednow should have this more defined since it is a community that has made itself public. Maybe rednow should be ready with a controlled and articulate statement to respond with when asked, "Who are you?" This only reinforces the point that we are the same as you. Our efforts are to attempt to express the seemingly inexpressible. The moments that offer meaning to and transformation in our lives without completely knowing why. Our essence is to wonder.
